The aim of the international network of partners is to promote the development, research, knowledge integration and mobility of our students and lecturers. Ostelea has partnership agreements in place with leading national and international universities and business schools that run Tourism and Hospitality programs, with the aim of promoting the development, research, knowledge integration and mobility of students and lecturers. Through this program, the students on Ostelea’s Bachelor Degrees in Tourism and Leisure have the option of studying for a term or year in higher education institutions across the European Union. The studies completed within the framework of these programs will be recognized academically by Ostelea, in accordance with the provisions of the specific regulations of each program and the regulations on academic mobility. This program is compatible with applications for study grants. All the Erasmus agreements in place between Ostelea and our Partner Universities, where our students can study for a period, fall within the remit of the Universitat de Lleida. Therefore, any Ostelea students who want an international mobility placement must apply for the mobility programs offered each year by the Universitat de Lleida. In general, students are exempt from having to pay enrolment fees at the host university. However, students have to be up-to-date with their enrolment fees at Ostelea to be eligible to access the mobility program. Ostelea currently has Erasmus agreements in place with the following universities, at which students may apply to study for a semester or a year. Germany Hochschule Stralsund · Stralsund (Germany). Finland Laurea University of Applied Sciences Saimaa University of Applied Sciences · Vantaa (Finland). The Netherlands Saxion University · Enschede (The Netherlands). Italy Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II · Naples (Italy). Universitá degli Studi di Torino · Turin (Italy). United Kingdom Coventry University · Coventry (United Kingdom). International Mobility Program Ostelea | Tourism Management School has bilateral partnership agreements in place with universities outside the European Union, at which students may apply to study for a term or a year. Only students on Ostelea’s Bachelor Degrees in Tourism and Leisure may apply for this mobility program. Students have to meet all the admission requirements of the host university. Applications are evaluated in line with the following criteria: Weighted average score of the student’s academic record (60%). Language proficiency (40%). The places are assigned based on the total score obtained for the first option on each application. In the case of a draw, priority will be given, in the following order, to the candidate with the highest average score, with the highest language proficiency score and, finally, the student who has successfully completed most credit. In the event that it is not possible to assign a student their first option because all the places at the host university have already been assigned to applicants with a higher score, the second place will be assigned, and so on successively until the last option specified by the applicant. The allocation of places depends on admission by the host university, which must be processed afterwards, and the approval of the tuition program that they are taking from both Ostelea’s mobility coordinator and the coordinator of the host university. The mobility grants awarded by the Universitat de Lleida cannot be used for this program. Students will be informed of other grant programs that they can apply for (e.g. AGAUR Mobint).
